Tobago PFA Legends Tour with Arsenal FC

A couple of weeks ago, Ian and I were invited to Tobago for Ian to play with Arsenal for the Legends Tour.

We had a great week, absolutely LOVED Tobago.  The people are fantastic, the food is great and the drink is flowing.  It was party, party, party.

The turn out for the tournament was great as the grandstand at the Dwight York Stadium was full - It was just a shame that that the rest of the stadium was empty.  The party atmosphere was immense - Lots of steel bands, dancing, eating and drinking.  Completely my kind of island!

Arsenal certainly didn't play their best on the first day, but on the second day they were under strict instructions from their families that as long as they won against Spurs, that was all that matters.  I was so proud of Ian when he scored two goals against Spurs and ended up the joint second top scorer of the tournament.  Best of all, I just about managed to video one of the goals and make sure I put it all over Facebook, Whatsapp and Twitter and now on here (below)

All in all, Arsenal rose from bottom of the table after the first day, to Semi finalists of the tournament - only to be knocked out by Liverpool FC, who went on to win the tournament.  That said, myself and the families all felt that the Caribbean All Stars should have won.

I just want to say a big thanks to the PFA and British Airways for such a great trip, not to mention the people of Tobago.
